Michigan Earth Science Women's Network (M-ESWN) Co-sponsored by : WISE (Women in Science and Engineering), GSAC (CLASP Graduate Student Advisory Committee) and AWIS (Association for Women in Science)

The Michigan Earth Science Women’s Network (M-ESWN) provides targeted support for self-identified women graduate students in the earth and environmental sciences at the University of Michigan. While many women conduct research in the earth and environmental sciences at UofM, departmental and geographic boundaries limit opportunities for networking and collaboration. M-ESWN promotes a common space to help bridge the divide between departments and campuses on both North, Central and the Medical campuses by offering monthly workshops that focus on developing professional skill sets, peer mentoring, and building a sustainable community.

The core of MESWN's mission is to help women from all fields and backgrounds in achieving their dreams by providing them with professional development tools and a support network. The interdisciplinary workshops are supported by the Rackham Graduate School at the University of Michigan.
